We first met Bob on a busy night at the Crossed Keys in Tutbury. We were standing at the bar as there were no tables left, when Bob kindly offered us seats at his and Jean’s table. A conversation struck up and we quickly became friends. He was such a lovely man, jolly, kind, thoughtful and so dedicated to Jean. This once chance encounter soon became our regular Friday night meet up session with Bob and Jean and we will remember it with great fondness. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
